Nobody rings to thank you for a tidy sheet, but everybody rings when one line is missing.

The order number

It is the link between the box and whatever is in your system. Without it every question becomes a search through dates.

Quantities, not just descriptions

“Two units” is clearer than the item name alone, especially when an order is split across two boxes.

What is missing

If an item is out of stock, this sheet is where it belongs, with one word about when it follows. Silence here costs a phone call.

Returns

A single line about how to send something back saves at least two messages, and it is the thing most often forgotten because it is not part of the order.
